I’m currently playing with 6 Million Dollar Band (80’s covers), and I occasionally sub for bands in various genres including Steely Dan tribute, New Orleans funk and second line, and wedding/corporate events. I also really enjoy studio work, have played for local musical productions like Annie, Hairspray and Hair, and I've worked with local singer/songwriters and vocal choirs.

Hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, I've been involved in music almost all my life. I started piano lessons at age 4 and added saxophone at age 11 (after torturing my parents for a year with violin). While being involved in concert, symphonic, marching and jazz bands throughout high school and college, I found my true musical passion as a bass player while on tour with Up With People.

I'm comfortable playing in a variety of genres from 60’s Motown to modern Pop. Take a spin through my music player and you’ll find a wide list of musical influences: everything from Marcus Miller, Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Mingo Fishtrap, Lettuce/Soulive, Reel Big Fish, and Ozomatli to Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theater, Primus, and Tool, with a lot in between.

Some of my favorite past venues include House of Blues Las Vegas, Austin City Limits Festival, Stubb’s BBQ, a trip to Nashville to film with Bobby Jones Gospel Presents, and the Pope’s weekly address on the steps of the Vatican.
